THE SCHOOL AS A LANDSCAPE FOR NEW LEARNING
The project offers a sustainable architectural solution for an open and inclusive educational environment, in a strong connection with nature and the neighborhood community.
Connection with nature and community
The school is designed as an integral part of its surroundings. The development of usable green roofs, an inner courtyard and semi-open spaces creates a smooth transition between the indoor and outdoor environment. The spaces around the building are intended for community activities, outdoor events and free play, which strengthens the social role of the school.
Independent functioning and flexibility of use
The project envisages that the building will function fully outside of school hours – as a cultural and sports center. The sports areas, additional education areas and community halls are designed with independent access, which allows their use by external visitors without disrupting the school regime. This turns the building into a living structure, active throughout the day and year.
Open learning and social environment
A key priority in the interior design is to create a flexible, dynamic and inspiring learning environment. The spaces are visually and functionally connected through large glazing, movable partitions and open transitions. Areas with different functions flow into each other – the library, the dining area, the spaces for teamwork and play are united by a common open composition that encourages spontaneous learning and social communication.
